If you love to write, then write. Don't ever let someone else's opinion stop you from doing what you love. It's okay to let constructive criticism mold you as a writer, but don't let it hinder you. If you start getting too many opposing opinions, step back and remember the heart of YOUR story.

Every time he transitioned into the monster, I had to hide from him, while also protecting him from hunters.
The monster became Ben, the girl became Charlie, and everything else came from my imagination.
