I read LOTS and music often works too. Sometimes I just run various ideas or 'what ifs' through my head and something gets stuck and won't leave my mind.

I don't write a couple of days and read a lot to get inspired. I also think of my favourite scenes to get motivated and eventually I simply get going again. At one point or other THE idea just pops into my head and I am completely enthusiastic about getting it onto paper!

The best thing is creating characters and worlds! I think it's the most fun part apart from creating a good story that flows :)
