The best thing about being a writer? The feeling you get when an idea for a story materializes in your head. It's sort of like a great first date. You meet, everything you learn about the other person is all general with a few details mixed in that get you overly-excited. You go home that night, thinking about all the possibilities of what could be, far removed from the realities of making the relationship work that will come with it all if you actually get beyond the third date.
