Hi Helena,
I started writing at the age of fourteen, for a homework assignment that wanted me to write a chapter with a cliffhanger ending! I wanted to find out what happened after that chapter too, so I kept writing, and the rest is history.

Hi Helena,
The book in my profile picture is a collection of Christmas stories by Charles Dickens!

Hi Helena,
Hmmm... I do like reading funny stories, but I’m not so much a writer of them. I do always incorporate humor, but the things that inspire me are usually pretty heavy material.

Hi Helena,
I’ve been writing for about nine years! It started as a history assignment asking us to write the first chapter of a story with a cliffhanger (we’d been learning about the author of the Arabian Nights), and I just kept going.

Hi Abbie!
How I got started publishing is a fairly long story, but to cut it short, I met a lovely elderly lady belonging to a local writer’s group, who then in turn introduced me to her granddaughter. This granddaughter showed me Kindle Direct Publishing, and helped my dream of being a published author come true. KDP is where I’ve published all of the Warriors of Aralan books (minus the short story anthology, which is only available on my newsletter). It has its glitches, but overall, I’ve been very pleased. They let me keep the rights to my book, unlike many publishing places, and I enjoy the freedom of being an indie author. It’s a lot of work, but worth it in the long run.
Hopefully that answers your questions! Best of luck with publishing yours someday!

Never stop writing. There will be times (and people) that discourage you, but whatever you do, don't quit. The world needs the story only you can write!
