I dont really get writers block all that often because I choose to write only when I get the itch. There are times when even when I am scratching that itch that I get blocked, then I just pack it in for the day or take a break. Writer's block is scary, so I try to avoid it if I can.

Currently I am working on a book about a teacher and the journey he takes during his first year as a kindergarten educator. It has a lot of jokes and the illustrator is drawing the book comic style. I really love the way it is turning out.

The Moustache Fairy came to me because children all of a sudden seem to want to have a moustache (real or fake). So I let my imagination run a bit wild and created a whole picture book about a boy named Alvin who never got his moustache and how he copes with this problem in a town where your moustache is your identity. Luckily for Alvin, he has a Magical Moustache Fairy looking over him.
