Sometimes I get random ideas, sometimes I'm inspired by beliefs about life and want to communicate them. But most of the times I just have to sit down and write - ideas come after I stick my fingers on the keyboard and make myself do it!

It can be hard sometimes. The major method that comes to mind is just buckling down and cranking out words, even when they don't sound right. Editing while I go is really the biggest reason I find for writer's block. Sometimes writing about something that has happened to me or something I've been feeling lately is a good way to jog the keyboard as well.

Hi! Good question. The answer depends a lot on what I'm writing. For my current book its a mixture of movie soundtracks, old rock songs about time travel, muppet songs, and the theme from Shaun the sheep.
