"At Night's End" originally started as a zombie book. After hours of discussions with one of my friends, I felt that the marked was flooded with zombie books. We discussed how I could play off of zombies and the zombie-pocalypse and create a completely new story idea. Once I started writing, the characters told the story from their perspective.

I've always enjoyed writing. I started ANE about 4 years ago. This past June (2015) I went to UtopYA Con in Nashville, and fell in love with writing all over again. I met an awesome group of people, and for the first time in a long time, I felt at home. I had found my people. They are such supportive and helpful people, they inspire me everyday!

Currently I am working on two new projects, both are separately the first books for trilogy sets. Both are completely different from my first book, "At Night's End", as well as being different from each other.

My advice for aspiring writers is to write. Just write what's in your mind. Also, find a group of people that write and/or love the same genre and learn from them.

The best thing about being a writer is getting to share these stories and characters with others.

I watch Netflix, listen to music, or switch projects if I hit a wall. Sometimes I'll plot with my friends to see if that helps with increasing my creativity.
