I love Baltimore (my hometown), Bluegrass and telling stories. I was doing an interview with bluegrass legend Del McCoury and he was telling me of his formative years in Baltimore. I was intrigued by this often overlooked scene that existed in Baltimore and began to dig deep into and ended up writing Bluegrass in Baltimore: The Hard Drivin' Sound and its Legacy.
