Currently working on Blonde, Beautiful, and Dead (working title), about an unsolved 1908 murder in upstate New York that partially inspired the TV show Twin Peaks, and a book on the Schenectady, NY, Police Department in the late nineties/early 2000s, which inspired the 2012 Ryan Gosling-Bradley Cooper film The Place Beyond the Pines.
