I was driving down the road one day and it really did just come to me. It's a series of three books, involving a detective, crime, sparsely populated land, and crochet, but with a very interesting twist thrown in by the "bad guy". No, crocheting isn't a requirement to be able to enjoy the plot, but those who do crochet will get a little extra fun out of it.

This isn't a question I can answer. I have never experienced writer's block. God has blessed me with an amazing gift. My books are in my head, from start to finish. My job is to sit down with my laptop and type. I am thankful to never be at a loss; so very thankful and beyond blessed.

Freedom! I can live in any time period I want to live in, I can work in any profession I want to work in, I can be related to whomever I wish, I can be anyone, anywhere, anything, at any time. I am my only limitation. I can make every single dream I have come true through my writing. Nothing can escape me. Being a writer is powerful, which is why it holds freedom.

Read, and read a lot! Practice proper grammar in your daily life. If you're not great at grammar, get that way. If you're not fond of reading, you need become fond of reading, even if doing it a little at a time. Read things you like, then venture out if you feel like it. Stretch your vocabulary. Reading will help you do this. Every time you hear, or read, a word you don't know, or you want to know the meaning of, write it down, then look it up. I like keeping a hard cover dictionary around, partly because I'm old-fashioned, but partly because when I'm writing, looking things up on my telephone is a distraction, and I don't want distractions when I write, so I use a real dictionary. You will be amazed how much better you feel about yourself, and your writing, when you increase your vocabulary.

A crochet mystery series that has an extra special twist.

Everything inspires me. I'm not kidding. If I see something one day and it looks differently than it did the day before, or differently from the last time that I saw it, my mind creates a story to explain why it now looks differently. I personify everything, and I always have. My mom, when I was growing up, never told me to stop. She knew it was just my imagination having fun. My husband just asks me if whatever object I've given a voice to is going to talk back to me. So far, nothing has ever spoken back (except in my imagination).
