The idea for my most recent published book, The Falls City Five, honestly came to me after reading about a case from many years ago. The end result of the real case was much less happy. I wanted to write a HEA story with a real-crime element, while simultaneously addressing the strain that working undercover could put on a marriage.

Honestly, waking up in the morning is enough to inspire me. I'm also inspired, and influenced, by my children and my family. Just about everything they do is enough to make me want to create a story.

I am currently working on multiple books. I am writing a 4th book in the Mended Hearts Series, a 4th in the Dej and Carrie Series, the beginning of a new series, and three stand-alone books.

Keep writing. No matter how good your story is, or how many errors get pointed out, don't give up. Always write your story, because you are the only one who can.

Getting to control what happens in a story. While most of my stories take on their own momentum, it's ultimately my decision as to what will happen. It makes me feel in control, even when real life tries to take that control from me.

I apologize for the tardiness of my reply. I deal with writer's block by not focusing solely on one WiP at a time. At any given moment, I am working on multiple books. This help tremendously when I hit a wall, because it allows me to shift focus from one topic to another, giving my mind a chance to work through whatever is stopping my progress on a particular title.
