Richard M. Anderson My book "Outbound: Islands in the Void" was mainly about life in space settlements where the essential force of gravity could be reproduced by centripetal force. On bodies such as the Moon or Mars the problem of creating standard gravity becomes more complex. I wanted to explore how that problem could be addressed.
Richard M. Anderson My first book, "The Evolution of Life: Big Bang to Space Colonies" was researched and written to answer questions I had. I wanted to fill gaps in my own education. That book inspired me to write, "Outbound: Islands in the Void". In 'Islands' I wanted to explore how humans might survive and recover from an Earth climate disaster. Would space settlements play a role by providing raw materials for manufacturing, models for environment repair, social, and economic solutions?
Richard M. Anderson I would go to Mars, to Valles Marinaris and the cities I created there in my upcoming book, "Outbound: Meta Mars".
Richard M. Anderson "Go Tell The Bees That I Am Gone", Diana Gabaldon
"Remarkably Bright Creatures", Shelly Van Pelt
"The Paris Library", Janet Skeslien Charles
