Casey Hagen Lloyd Dobler and Diane Court! There are some serious close seconds, but this couple is just so deliciously awkward that I can't resist picking them. What's not to love? You've got the boy from the "wrong" side of the tracks, but with a great heart just trying to figure out his future. You've got a girl from the "right" side, another great heart, who knows her future and is just trying to figure out herself. It's a brilliant match up. And really, is there anything more awesome than a guy that stands outside your house with a boombox and a song?
Casey Hagen My most recent book coming out in just a couple of weeks was formulated years ago with my childhood best friend. We wanted to see if it was possible to write a student/teacher romance with a high school student and high school teacher that society would accept.

I think Sunset at Lake Crane will hit the mark!
Casey Hagen People watching and music!
Casey Hagen Three books...at the same time and I don't recommend it. My priority is Falling In Angels Falls which is the second to Falling In Fiji. Also, I'm working on Nightfall at Hunter's Ridge which is the second to Sunset at Lake Crane, coming out soon. I just finished Consumed by the Dare, a novella for Carly Phillips' Dare to Love Kindle World., and I'm cowriting a story with Vikki Romano that is not named yet. We just refer to it as "The Chalet Story."
Casey Hagen Beware of developmental editors. When you hire these people, they charge an awful lot of money to tell you what direction they think your book should go in. But it's your book. Your decision. I've seen so many people derailed by developmental editors that made them question every single decision. Write, just write, worry about the editing after you pop open the vein and spill yourself on the page.
Casey Hagen Readers! It's always talking with and becoming friends with new readers!
Casey Hagen I've never actually had writer's block in the traditional sense. Usually, if I'm having issues, it's because I'm doing something wrong. The first thing I try is writing the scene from a different POV to see if that's the issue. With me, it usually is!
