My next book to be published is the sixth in the Jack of All Trades series. It's called Jack on the Tower. The ebook is due out on March 8th and the paperback in April. The main character, Jack Bell, a builder, is employed to point the brickwork of a house. An woman next door has disappeared and the couple in the house he is working on are at war. There will of course be murder, some romance, and detective work by Jack. I'm looking forward to adding another to the series.

Someone reminded me that there was unfinished business in the second book in the series, Jack of Spades. I decided to combine it with the ideas I already had, and have parallel plots running.

I'm working on the 7th in the Jack of All Trades series. It hasn't got a title yet. I call it Jack 7 at the moment.

Read a lot. And write. Keep a journal if you haven't a story going.

I read. It always works in the end, though it can last some time. If I can get excited by other writer's characters and situations, I can begin to think of spin offs, and start to use my imagination once again. For me writer's block is a sort of boredom; there's no shortage of ideas, but a shortage of creative energy.
