Hello Lydia! You're very welcome!! I hope you enjoy The Lost Generation and thank you for your kind words. My dedication was very important to me for many reasons, but mostly for people like you who had a relative who fought so bravely in World War I. I'm sorry you weren't able to message me, I'll have to look into that. :)

Anne Elliot and Captain Frederick Wentworth from Jane Austen's Persuasion. I have to say, I have a lot of favorite couples, but these two have been a favorite of mine since I first read Persuasion as a teenager. When picking a couple from Austen, the more obvious one would be Darcy and Lizzie. While I love them too, this quieter, more complicated couple captured my heart very deeply.

Hi Brooke!
There are several authors, actually. Namely, Julie Lessman, Julie Klassen, Ronie Kendig, and Francine Rivers. And, of course, there is no one better to turn to than Miss Jane Austen when you're trying to find inspiration for an epic romance. :)

I'm in the midst of writing a very unique love story in the 1820s about a woman who hires a rough and tough tracker to help find her lost daughter. We'll see where it goes and if I get to share it with you one day... :)

I always give the advice I was given. Read, read, and read some more! I think the best way to develop your imagination is by reading the genre you love. It opens your mind to so many possibilities and before you know it, you've discovered your own unique story and characters.

Chocolate and a good book. I eat a ton of chocolate, read a good book, and let my imagination rest and regroup. By the time I'm done, I've found a way to break through and start writing again. It always helps.
