Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Stephen Ostrow I wanted to be a magician, but the only thing I could make disappear was the money I spent buying magic tricks.

How do you get inspired to write?
Stephen Ostrow My ego stands over me with a whip and demands that I write something, even if it's just a joke and many of those jokes expand into a story.

Stephen Ostrow Two projects: a new novel I've, tentatively called "A Narrated Tour of Minterville, NY" and I am trying to find out what my wife is planning for dinner.
