I am working on a book entitled "Faith Travels Through Art". As an art historian I have studied and seen many works of art throughout the U.S. and Western Europe. I am discussing 25 works that I have impacted my spiritual walk, my thoughts about the human condition, works that have impacted on a visceral level

Quite honestly, my inspiration came in the middle of the night without any forethought. I got out of bed, went to my computer, and started writing my life story.

I wanted to pay homage to Karine, the African-American woman who raised me for 13 years. She loved me unconditionally, unlike anyone else. She is my conscience throughout my story, and has been beside me, whether in person or spirit, my entire life. And, she is the thread that holds together the vignettes of my life story.
