I love to play this game - take a real experience and show the mystery of it. A lot of these creep into my books. My favorite, which is a running plot line in a few of my books, involves a somber painting from Poland during World War II, a story about a prisoner of war, and a mystery artist. I'm still working my way through that one in my series, so you'll have to read it to find the full story!

I'm a news junky. I love reading about what's going on, in my hometown and around the world. It seems like whenever I read an interesting story, my mind starts playing with the facts. OK, that carjacker was caught, but what if he'd gotten away with it, and what if he was really on a mission to stop a kidnapper... the whole "what if" game. It's just how my mind works. Next thing I know, I'm in front of my computer, tapping away!

I'm working on the fourth book in the Adam Kaminski mystery series now. It's set in Galway. Visiting Galway in an effort to strengthen his struggling romance and explore his family legacy, Detective Adam Kaminski stumbles onto a murder scene. Quite literally. Now he must find the truth behind the grisly murder of a university professor before he becomes a convenient scapegoat – or convenient target.

The latest book in the Adam Kaminski series is set in Philadelphia, on the periphery of a major interfaith convention. While most of the city focuses on the convention, a murderer seizes an opportunity to get away with his crime. Like all my books, the ideas come from real stories, real events, but twisted through my imagination into a story of murder and investigation.
