Irene Toccaceli Inspiration comes unexpected. It can be a picture, a song, a sentence, a movie. Anything. It's on the writer's eye (or ear) to create something from it!
Irene Toccaceli Write, write, write. If it's not good, if it doesn't satisfy you, write it again. Eventually, everyone improves.
Irene Toccaceli I usually stop writing and do something else. If I can't keep with the story, I just leave it and start another one. I find it useless to write when it doesn't come to me naturally.
Irene Toccaceli Seeing how people react to your book is the most interesting part of writing a story. It's beautiful when readers tell you they've fallen in love with your characters or they've been crying all night for a chapter. Some readers' emotions are almost overwhelming!
Irene Toccaceli I'm working on another Paranormal Romance: "L'Incanto nella Grotta".
Irene Toccaceli I got the idea for "L'Altra Metà del Mondo" from a song: "All She Could Be" by Sarah Solovay. The song tells the story of a very beautiful girl who has much to say but "keeps her mouth shut". From this description I developed the idea of a feminine character who has always been selfish and superficial, but one day finds herself in another world and is forced to change her perspective of life and reveal her true self.
