The best thing? The job/calling/passion is portable. I still do not use a computer to write. As I've said, I write everything out longhand cursive. By the time I transfer it to WORD, It's been edited as much as I think it needs. I cannot sit staring into a stark screen for hours on end. UGH! I only need pens/pencils, legal pads, a dictionary, my imagination and access to internet if I need it for research.

I don't. I put the material down and walk away. I don't force it because when I have in the past, whatever comes out then ALWAYS read like crap. Now, I let it sit and wait until the muse strikes.

never ever give up. no matter how out there what you have to offer is, somebody out there wants to read it. so write it already!
