Carrie Delatte I wish I could get writer's block! My mind never turns off, which is not always a good thing. Most of the time I see my books rolling across my mind like a movie on the big screen and then need only to write it down. From the initial idea, the whole book is already there and will give me no rest until its out and breathing on the pages before me.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Carrie Delatte The best thing about writing, for me, is the therapy I find in it. A good writing session can take me to a whole new level of calm and helps me to put everything else in life into perspective.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Carrie Delatte Trust your intuition and never lose faith in yourself or your abilities(with anything in life)! The only thing standing in your way of reaching your goals is YOU. If you truly want to be a writer, then be a writer and don't take "NO" for an answer.

What are you currently working on?

Carrie Delatte It is going to be a busy year! I'm currently working on three new pieces:
1 series (the first book)
1 Romance Novel
1 Children's Book

*Bonus: I'm also writing twp plays for a local community theater club :)
