I don't know if it's the best thing or not but one of the best feelings that come from writing something I'm really proud of is that I've demonstrated an ability to articulate my thoughts well. One of the driving forces in me is to communicate and not preach in the attempt. I want to tell the stories that rest in my soul before I leave the earth.

The best way for me to overcome writer's block is to just sit down in the chair and write something, anything and not criticize or edit that work in any way. Fear is the biggest block, it sits like a big lump in my chest. Putting one writing foot in front of the other is the best cure for me.
