I am currently working on three projects. I'm preparing a short story for submission, I'm working on a second children's picture book in which I'll use my husband's photography and my words to teach about African animals, and I've completed the first draft of my second novel. It is the story of four women who share a weekly bridge game... and so much more.

So many people struggle to overcome abuse and often continue to suffer the effects long after escaping the physical control of their abusers. I wanted to write of one woman's journey and how she traveled the path from victim to victory.
