Never stop writing and look for opportunities everywhere. I mainly started writing through a poetry competition poster I noticed. From then on, I continued entering more writing competitions on Forward Poetry, Young Writers and United Press which gave me more confidence and practice in writing!

I take inspiration from my surrounding, whether I'm out for a walk or away on holiday - take note of the colours, smells, sounds, weather. Everything can trigger ideas, even songs!
