To be honest, sometimes I do treat writing as a job. Whether I want to or not, I make myself sit and write. It helps when the words flow easily. But if I'm really struggling, I walk away. No point in fighting it and writing something you'll just delete later.

Ideas for books can come from anywhere. This Is Love came to me while watching an episode of Criminal Minds.. weird I know as this is not a crime/thriller book but that's where it came from. Sometimes its from simple ideas that pop in my head, other times its from a life experience, others from something i see or read. It can come from anywhere. I just need to remember to write them all down once they appear!

I try not to let it worry me... I think of it as a day, or two or a few off. I know that some time, some way, the idea or inspiration will come to me, and if it takes a few days, then that's what it is.
