I keep a journal. Every day, I spend just a few minutes writing down any old thought, lyrics to a favorite song, to-do lists, quotes I read online. Write down everything and, eventually, your story will come.

Always write. Write just for the sake of writing because you never know what will inspire you and take you on a journey. If you do not already, carry a little notebook around with you so you can jot some things down. You can even use your smartphone to do it. I am old school, so I always have a pen and a small notebook.

I have multiple works-in-progress. I am writing a mystery/detective novel and two young adult novels. There is romance, intrigue, and lots of funny snippets.
