Finally my book is finished and I can send it to my publisher. O, no, my computer crashed!

I would love to go to Swiss Family Robinson's island and spend a year to finish my book undisturbed. Hopefully.

The only mystery in my life was a cat named Mystery. He was small, about four weeks old when he appeared on my door step one morning. There was no way to find out where he came from, so we kept him and called him Mystery. I can write a story about him, and maybe I will someday. Other than Mystery the cat, my life has been without mysteries and even, perhaps a little boring.

Sarah, I need all the help I can get. Thank you so much for offering. I have two books published and three more at my publisher waiting to enter the production process. Very few sales so far. I'll get into my email right now.

My most recent published book? ''My Father's Will''? As I mentioned earlier I watch people and listen to what they say. I was sitting in a coffee shop waiting for my cheese cake and espresso when I heard to men behind me talking about the many ways they were planning to spent some money they were about it inherit. One guy wanted a boat, the other a pilot licence, and then of course, an airplane. I stopped listening and started making some notes. By the time my order came, I had three pages full of ideas on how to spend easy wealth

I watch people, listen to them and somewhere there is a trigger to a story. Can't run to my computer fast enough. Sometimes I wish I had eight arms like an octopus so I dan do more than one story at a time.

Several stories. I have written the first of a number of patient stories for Hospice, I am working on a full length novel, a religious thriller, ''The god of these Times'' and earlier today I started a new novella. I complained to my husband that I crave to read a good story about the sea. So he told me: ''write one''. Here is the first paragraph:
''Stephany breathed the fresh sea air deeply, walking with her bare feet at the water's edge. Every now and then a cold wave washed over her feet and sent shivers up her legs. She was dressed in beige shorts and sky-blue tee-shirt, a cap on her head and huge sunshades to protect her eyes against the sharp reflection from the water. A pair of tan colored leather sandals, tied together, dangled over her shoulder as she walked, her hands deep in her pant pockets and a light breeze playing in her long, sandy blond hair. She is deep in thought. How good it is to be free. For now. Soon she will have to pack up and run, because she knows they will find her.''
Of course it is a first draft, and the final one before submission to the publisher might be different

Just do it. Don't wait for the ''perfect time'' because then you will never start. write about things you know about. Write about anything you can think of. Just write because it is what you were made to do. And then you plot a story, type the first draft and thank God for what you have accomplished and what you are about to accomplish by His grace.

The Blessed ability to give ''substance'' to whatever the imagination can come up with and organize it into a story that makes some kind of sense and bring enjoyment to the readers

I log off, go do some chores and get my mind off writing for a short while. Then I go back to my computer with a stack of biscuits and a tall, strong coffee and start typing vigorously, anything that comes to mind. Once I get into it, I go back to my story and the thoughts start flowing again.
