Lynna Kivela What ever bothers me...puzzles me...torments my mind...inspires me to write.
Lynna Kivela Wuthering Height's, Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff. Such deep, intense and tormenting love. Probably not a good thing; likely not healthy; but still...
Lynna Kivela I got very sick and depleted while writing "My Sociopath" and went into extreme poverty to finish the book. It was my mission to write a book and I had to fulfill this mission as part of my soul work...as part of my own exercise in Focus and Will so as to heal from childhood and adulthood narcissistic abuse. (Healing through Focus and Will is discussed in "My Socioapth.") Now, I'm financially ruined and burnt-out, have no gumption left to step outside my comfort zone in order to market this book on my own, and I have no money to hire professional marketers. Plus, I'm more of an "artist" than a business person and "marketing" or promoting myself is a real turn-off or soul violation. The thought of self-promotion is foreign to me. I am currently recuperating so as to build my energy back up to eventually force myself out there to push some type of marketing of "My Sociopath." This will be another exercise in Focus and Will where I will force myself through the "marketing" process as a part of my healing program. I don't want "My Sociopath" to die out there on a shelf.
Lynna Kivela When you choose to write about a subject that consumes your thoughts and actions, it's hard to stop writing. "My Sociopath" was around 450 pages at one time and I still wanted to write more. I realized that many of us have short attention-spans and plus, I didn't want to go on and on like a Narcissist, so I had to go through "My Sociopath" and cut and cut things out and away. The key to preventing writer's block is to write about your passions and to be a zealot! Society brainwashes us against "zealousness" but a hard-core mindset can lead to great thoughts and then to great writings!
Lynna Kivela The freedom and ability to pour out my heart, mind, tormenting thoughts, and raw guts.
Lynna Kivela Write about what you constantly think about, talk about, and what pesters at your conscience.
