Every time she turned off the lights the silhouette appeared but was gone when she turned on the lights. The silhouetted figure came closer with each flick of the switch until the lights stayed off and Becky was gone.

I don't fight it. If I have a block, I leave the story alone for several months and then get back to it later. When I reread after a long period of time, I often rewrite everything I all ready have and then the block is gone and I can finish the remainder of the story.

I am currently working on promoting my new book and hope to begin writing more short stories to begin putting together for my next collection of short stories.
