"Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome: The Journey Begins" was never really an idea. It began life as a tool to help me come to terms with the chaos and consequences of being diagnosed with a rare, life threatening genetic disorder.
The more I typed, the more i became lost in endless words. There wasn't really any thought process, it just happened. Before I knew it, there was a whole story in front of me.
Releasing the book came through the desire for change. To try as best as I could to make a little difference in the world by raising awareness and showing others that we aren't alone.

My inspiration comes from reading. It ignites the imagination inside of me that burns deep and flows through my veins. Once an overwhelming desire to write comes along it has to be satisfied. This often means many sleepless nights!

Currently I'm working on another tale that will take you beyond our world and into a magical fantasy realm where the fate of the world is in the hands of a not so ordinary chap called Eric.

My only advice is to write. Stop reading about how to write, what to write, and just sit yourself down with a tipple. Eventually the words will flow, the fingertips will connect with the brain, and before you know you will have a work of art of your hands!
