I was thinking about how bad things happen to good people with good intentions and was wondering why that was? I was alone almost having a self pity party and decided to write down some ideas about being alone and some causes. One thing led to another and my imagination took over and I found that I was engrossed in my characters and their lives. I was no longer alone.

Various things inspire me. I can be driving down a quiet road and see things on the hill that look strange and get inspired. Life's tragedy's, surprises, disappointments and happy things inspire me. I can spin a short story on something as basic as a truck driver racing pass me on the road, if I am not in thought on another idea. You have to enjoy dreaming or day dreaming!

Wow! I am writing the sequels to Creole Moon. Currently, there are 2 more that I am working on. I have a couple of other books in the works along the same line of supernatural fiction as The Betrayal. I have some children's books also finished but I'm not sure if I am ready to publish those just yet.

Start by keeping a journal anything and everything you can think of or what you are feeling or what you experienced that day. Journal what you said or did in a situation and then write what you could have said or done in that same situation. Before you know it, you become the words or the work because you can see or feel what the character sees and feels. Voila! You are on your way to writing.

I like the fact that I can be as crazy, or ditsy or even weird in my books as I want to be and / or I don't dare to be in real life. It's my alter ego, I guess.

I have multiple projects going on at the same time. When I get stuck on one project, I just go to another one or wait a couple of days and then get back to the book. It's amazing what a good night's sleep can do for the imagination.
