Just jump into it, and write for enjoyment, not to sell. Write to create a great story which will lead to convincing the audience that your vision is clear and worthwhile. Pay no attention to cautious friends who can be inhibiting.

Step totally away from the project and engage in other activities, till you clear the project from your mind, let some time pass, then come back t it. It looks totally new.

It gives one the chance to totally examine a situation from all perspectives and then put it into a readable form to share with an unknown audience and to try to convince them of its importance. It is a very intense and rewarding actiivity that gets to be all consuming!
