Anne Hendricks Yes, I have read Atonement Child. She is a fantastic author! My novel is totally different: she survives her choice, and there is really no similarity. Her book is amazing!

I had a recent reviewer of my debut, A Woman's Choice, ask me about why rocks were used in Banner's support group meetings for PAS?
Anne Hendricks The rocks utilized in her PAS groups illustrate the stones we throw at one another, as well as at ourselves. It is a physical activity. It teaches us we do not have the right to throw stones (rocks).

What books are on your summer reading list this year?
Anne Hendricks I hope to read great biographies on World War II American heroes, such as MacArthur and Patton.

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Anne Hendricks Registering on a DNA website to find my father's sibling, who was given up for adoption in 1937. I hate not seeing him, and I fear, as time passes, I will not.

Anne Hendricks I don't have writer's block. I have discipline issues! :D

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Anne Hendricks Having someone comment, "Good job, Hendricks." Sure, I got the degree, but having verbal validation rocks. Most of all: it rocks I am doing my dream!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Anne Hendricks Find your niche audience. Network. Keep a writer's notebook. Most of all, write the story. Finish the story. Invest in a good editor. I have a blog on this...www.annehendrickswriter.wordpress.com. Check it out!

Anne Hendricks Preparing my debut, A WOMAN'S CHOICE and editing my Walt Whitman novella.

How do you get inspired to write?
Anne Hendricks Anything inspires me - that is why I keep a writer's notebook! It is always nearby!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Anne Hendricks In 2014, I took up the call to write the first real book about Post Abortion Stress Syndrome and the love story of the woman who overcomes it. This was a National Novel Writing Month manuscript for 2014- and will be released 01.22.16.
