Honestly, since I opened my publishing house, Indies United, almost all of my reading, summer or otherwise are books submitted for review and the new books coming out under our imprint. With over 50 authors and over 150 books, they keep me well endowed with reading material lol

After publishing my books as an indie author for years, it became very clear that Indie authors were treated like the unwanted stepchildren of the publishing world, and it upset me. There are so many wonderful indie authors out there and they were treated poorly by online booksellers, taken advantage of by vendors, and pushed around by everyone, that I decided to do something about it and I opened Indies United. A place where I could gather all of these wonderful authors under one umbrella and help them get their books out into the world, no longer stigmatized by the "indie" designation.

I'm not sure there's any true mysteries in my life that would be book worthy. I mean, the quest for the lost keys really doesn't make for good reading lol

There are so many worlds that I love. I would love to drop into Heinline's World and hang around with Lazarath Long or pop into Douglas Adams world and enjoy the insanity for a while. There's a lot of books that I love, but to be truthful, I'm not sure I'd want to visit if given a chance, Stephen King comes to mind, as well as George RR Martin, great places to read about, not so sure about visiting lol

The world had stopped, not a single sound could be heard, not an insect, bird, animal, or person could be found for all my searching. I was alone.

You know, this one has stumped me. I read a lot of books, but very few are "couple driven". I read a lot of science fiction, fantasy, and dystopian/apocalyptic novels, and while they have couples in them, that's not really the focus of the story. I have honestly been thinking about this answer for hours, and I legitimately cannot come up with an answer for this question. There are characters that I love, but I love them as individuals, not as a couple.

I sit down, pour a cup of coffee, shut my door and pretend that the world outside of my screen doesn't exist until it forces itself upon me, and then I start all over the next day.

I'm currently working on the second book of what I hope is a series of three under the title "Okay, picture this..." the second book is tentatively being called "Wine Come in Six-Packs".

From my life. This book is the mostly true, fairly accurate, and almost completely factual account of my life, with only a few small embellishments made for the sake of a good story.
