If I don't know the story I work on that: sit and be open to the stuff that comes, read Save The Cat books to figure out the story, go through my Writer Emergency Pack to figure out the story, go through my book on the book (a lined journal where I keep all my notes on that particular project), or gaze at my storyboard.

Coded CC, it's about a woman who is convinced to assist in the removal of a girl from her convoluted family so that her father can work out marriage difficulties. The child was being used as a pawn and the father wanted that to stop.
