D.G. Wood Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. Being polar opposites creates wonderful moments of exasperation between the characters...a true relationship of ups and downs that inspires brilliance when they put their different perspectives together to solve a case.
D.G. Wood I am currently working on the sequel to The Woman Who Tasted Death. One by one, children are being abducted from Wolf Woods. Darkly Stewart confronts the culprit deep in the boreal forest...a creature far older and darker of spirit than werewolves. I also have a thriller feature film shooting in England, set in a pub on the edge of a Yorkshire moor.
D.G. Wood I lived in Canada for eight years, both in Vancouver and Toronto. Having written genre television there, the idea came to me to tackle a novel that combined both the supernatural and an iconic Canadian symbol that is universally popular. As all television writers know, the writing room is a collaborative process. Writing this first in a series of novels enabled me to explore ideas that are purely my own.
