The answer to this is of course complicated. My first thought is that how I ended up moving to California would be a great plot - but that was basically what my first novel was about (entirely fictionalized of course.) Another interesting idea would be a behind the scenes look at what happened when I decided to run for City Council. A lot of juicy stuff there that would make a great novel plot for sure!

When I was writing this novel and I hit a road block, I made sure I turned on music - so I could take myself back in time. You'll find that music is a major component of my story - there are 53 songs mentioned in the book. It worked!
