J.M. Adele Scenes pop into my head and develop from there. I feel like they come from somewhere else. Maybe they stem from my life experiences, or hopes and dreams for the future. I can't really pinpoint where the ideas come from.I just go with whatever comes along.
J.M. Adele I don't know if it's an inspiration so much as a need to sit down and get the movie reel in my head down on paper. My characters are persistent!
J.M. Adele I'm working on the first two books in the Sensing Series. I can't give much away, just yet.
J.M. Adele Read. Read. Read. Write. Write. Write. Never give up. Take the constructive criticism and use it. Ignore the nasties. Nasty is never helpful.
J.M. Adele Therapy! I feel horrid if I don't get to sit down and write. I love manipulating words on a page to hopefully create an emotionally provocative experience for the reader. What can I say? It gives me a buzz.
J.M. Adele Writer's block usually means I'm not listening to my characters, or I need to do more research. Time away from the story doing mundane tasks helps me because it lets my mind wander and work out where the story needs to go from there.
