There are two main reasons I set the book in the US. The first is that I find there to be something fascinating about American squatching culture that isn't quite the same in Canada. The second is the unique ecosystem of the Klamath-Siskiyou region. It just drew me in and seemed like a good place for hunting Bigfoot.

Currently I'm putting the finishing touches on the draft of the second Creature X Mystery.

This is just the first of what I hope will be many books that delve into the mysterious world of cryptozoology. There are so many fascinating creatures in our folklore and urban legends that I'm sure will make intriguing plots for the heroes of this series.
