Thank you, Selena Haskins for this question. It was on a road trip to Florida when my wife was having an in depth conversation about a couple when I realized it was a book she had read. I said I could write one and already have it in my head. We returned and I wrote my first book in a weeks time.

With this book and every book I first pray and seek wisdom from the Lord and allow the Holy Spirit to orchestrate each word.

My advice would be to get it out of your head on paper or your laptop. Trust the process and keep pushing forward but never forget why you started writing.
