The next book, "The Dragon Riders", will be out in late summer or early fall of 2016.
"The Dragon Rustler" was inspired by a co-worker who was looking at a stack of books about East / West business relationships titled "Cowboys and Dragons: Shattering cultural myths to advance Chinese/American Business" by Charles Lee, and he said, "Man. If someone wrote a kids book about cowboys and dragons, they would sell a million copies." I went back to my desk and started thinking about what kind of story that would be, and the image of a certain female character being saved by a certain dragon character, that ultimately kicks off the climax scene, popped into my mind.

A former coworker of mine was looking at a business book on a shelf at work called "Cowboys and Dragons: Shattering cultural myths to advance Chinese/American Business" by Charles Lee, and turned to me and said, "Man if someone would write a kids book about cowboys and dragons, I bet they would make a fortune." When I went back to my desk I visualized a scene that ended up being the beginning of the climax for "The Dragon Rustler". Two years later, I have the book, but am still waiting for the "fortune" part of the equation to happen ;-)

I'm currently working on the second book in the, "Cowboys and Dragons" series titled, "The Dragon Riders". I'm currently on chapter three of a planned thirty five. My target release date is in late Spring 2016, so hopefully I can get rolling a little faster before the holidays arrive.
