Thanks for your reply Jodi. I do look forward to reading this series. I love these kind of books, so I am sure I will enjoy it. Goodreads doesn't have MARSHALL listed here. I was going to add it form the Amazon site, but I can't. Maybe only authors can. I would like to get it on my WANT TO READ list so can you check into this please?

When will MARSHALL be published in print format? Amazon has it coming out in Kindle format in February 2022, but I prefer print books and would live to read this. I have the first two in the series, RENEGADE and MAVERICK, but haven't read them yet. I will be next week though. Thanks!

Do you belong to a book club?
Jodi Burnett I unofficially belong to a bookclub run by Sisters in Crime, but I don't belong to a small discussion group anymore. That is one of the things I've missed over the last year. That might need to be a goal for 2021! Happy New Year!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Jodi Burnett I get a lot of my inspiration from traveling. We spent a weekend in a small town in Montana that inspired the home town of the Flint River Series. The protagonist in Run For The Hills is an equine therapist. I worked in that field for many years and brought that insight into the novel.

What are you currently working on?
Jodi Burnett I am currently working on an FBI-K9 Thriller titled Mile-High Mayhem. It is the 4th book in my FBI-K9 series. This book's main characters are Agent Logan Reed and Gunner, his bomb sniffing K9, who work side by side with Agent Addison Thorne, an FBI bomb tech, racing to prevent the villain from blowing up Denver - the Mile-high city.

I'm still in the rough draft phase of this explosive novel.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Jodi Burnett For me, writing is like playing make-believe as a grown up. There are no limitations to your imagination.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Jodi Burnett I don't often struggle with writer's block. If I get stuck working out a plot point, I go for a walk and run the different scenarios through my mind. The combination of fresh air and no distractions is helpful.
