Hey Malcolm, thanks for stopping by. If you're talking about a nonfiction book about the Coast Guard (like my Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines books) then that depends on my publisher commissioning the work. I'll tell him you're interested, maybe he'll add that to the series!
I did write a fiction book called "Isle Royale" that takes place in the 1920s at a lighthouse on an island in Lake Superior. Several of the characters are members of the U.S. Revenue Cutter Service, which was the predecessor of the Coast Guard. I dedicated the book to the men and women who serve in today's U.S. Coast Guard.

Hey Doug, good question. Living in Minnesota, I've spent quite a bit of time next door in South Dakota, specifically the Black Hills. Love the Deadwood area and all its history. Walking around Mt. Moriah Cemetery (the final resting place of Wild Bill Hickok) gave me the idea for "Ghost Marshal." Since Wild Bill was shot in 1876, that's when the story begins (the first of a planned trilogy).
