D.A. Reed Everything around me inspires me. Books, movies, the people I see every day. Even a simple sound can spark an entire scene rolling in my mind and then I'm frantically trying to figure out how to fit it into one of my books.
D.A. Reed I am planning my next suspense/thriller series...but I'm keeping details under wraps for right now... :-)
D.A. Reed Fight and write. Don't stop writing and don't give up. Ever. You never know when the right person will see what you are doing and help you to fly. You have a gift - never stop using it, because someone out there is just waiting for you to share it with them.
D.A. Reed I love watching the characters take on a life of their own - and take over the story! Sometimes I write things that were definitely not in the notes sitting by my keyboard because the character decided to take the story into his/her own hands.
D.A. Reed When I have writer's block, I sometimes stand up and move around, find something else to do for a while...and sometimes I stare at my computer screen for an obscene amount of time, tapping my fingers on the keys and getting absolutely nowhere.
D.A. Reed Daisies in the Rain was inspired by a young lady I met several years ago who faces physical challenges every day. She struggles with doubts and uncertainties, but also has a love for life that keeps her going and doing the things she loves. Daisies in the Rain was my way of showing her how incredible she is - how incredible we ALL are.
