I skip to another section of whatever I'm writing, either another chapter or scene. It's like a fresh start. It's too easy to get caught up trying to solve a specific problem, when more often than not it just takes a little bit of head space.

Even when you don't feel like writing, write! Some days are harder than others but it's essential to push through rather than stall and write nothing. At the end of the week it's easier to rewrite and rework a few average pages into something better than starting from scratch.

I'm currently writing 'Ark of the Gods', book two in the Sean Livingstone series. I'm also writing another novel called 'Jinwarra', a modern-day ghost story set in rural Australia.

Inspiration will usually strike out of the blue. It can by anything from real life, news, films, and reading books. Music is a huge part of my writing process and I draw a lot of inspiration from film soundtracks.
