Every author suffers from writer's block and uses different tactics to deal with it. Whenever I feel writer's block, I usually start interacting with readers and friends to get the ideas from real life. Also, traveling is a prescribed solution for the writer's block, which I end up using when no other option suits me.

Actually, I prefer real life story for my novel as it tends to connect the readers thoroughly. If I talk about my first novel "The way she loved", the story was based on reality and all the characters are real too. I usually observe and analyze the people from my surrounding, be it my friends, relatives or whosoever, to get the inspiration for writing.

I am currently working on my second novel jointly with a co-author who is also very close to my heart. The title is yet to be revealed but, it is going t be out by the end of this year.

Writing must not be taken as a work or task. It's an expression which flows spontaneously and so let it be. Never do force writing. Apart from this if you're a budding author, read as much as you can to avoid writer's block. The second most priority should be your readers base. So, start building your readers base when you are in the midway of the completion of your manuscript.

The best thing about being a writer that I have observed in one year of my writing career is, once you write a book, it soothes you every day. The reviews and messages can be landed anytime on your phone to make you reel under extreme happiness. Apart from that, being a writer, you need not be obsessed for any author's signed copy. You could have one easily. Moreover, you can write your own best selling book and sign it and keep it.
