Lilly Robbins-Brock My all time favorite is the "Gone With The Wind" couple Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler. There is plenty of passion, tension and conflict to keep the story moving along. At the end of the story, I was left wanting to know how she would get him back and hoping she would be successful.

Thank you for your question.
Lilly Robbins-Brock We have a wonderful orchard, and an abundant garden every year. While processing and preserving all the wonderful food, much of which I use for gifts, I thought it would be a great idea to create a book and share all my ideas and recipes for creating food gifts. Thus my book, Food Gift Recipes From Nature's Bounty: Easy & Delicious Recipes To Make & Share For Every Occasion.
Lilly Robbins-Brock Many things inspire me. History is filled with inspiration. I also study the genealogy of my ancestral family. There are so many real life stories to be told, and those stories also become inspirations to create a fictional story. I like to people watch which might inspire a story.
Lilly Robbins-Brock I am currently working on a historical fiction novel about a family in the 1850's. They migrate from New York on a paddlewheel steamship via the South American route to end up in the rugged Pacific Northwest where men outnumber women 20 to 1. The family has many trials and tribulations along the way as well as challenges to overcome at their final destination. My characters are alive to me, and they are always nagging me for attention! I look forward to introducing them.
Lilly Robbins-Brock I love the freedom of putting my thoughts into written words. Writing takes me into my private world which I will eventually share with those who are interested. I'm always open to ideas to use. It might be someone in a coffee shop, and I imagine about what their world might be like, or I have a conversation with a senior citizen about what they have seen in their life. Many situations can spark a story.
