Bryce Ian Favorite fictional couple might be the Narrator and Marla Singer from Chuck Palahniuk's "Fight Club". Lots of movies and books have the two characters that don't get along throughout the story and then end up together in the end, but in Fight Club its wholly unique. It plays out in a way that is weird and interesting, specific to that story, and ultimately feels genuine toward the close. In case I'm forgetting some specifics from the book, my answer is more so from my memory of the movie. Thank you for the question. -BI
Bryce Ian Right now I'm working on another story that may be another novella or a screenplay about an aspiring writer who breaks his hand, and other characters hoping to one day to crawl out of the ruts the consequences of life have put them in. The story will also play as a parody of the writing process.
I'm also working on a card game that is in the prototyping / playtesting phase.
Bryce Ian Write down every idea you have, try to write at least a little everyday, get feedback from everyone, don't be afraid of rejection (because it will happen), do your research and kill your darlings.
Bryce Ian If I have trouble moving forward with something I'm focusing on writing, I'll take a break from it and work on something else. I might even take an extended break and come back to the piece after I've let the ideas for it roll around in my head. In any case, if I'm stuck, I simply try to not stress about it.
