If I get stuck I try to plot my way out of it by looking at the things that need to happen to progress the story and the events that have happened prior to the scene I'm stuck on. Or I skip to the next scene and write that, often something happens in the next couple of thousand words that enables me to fix where I was stuck.

I'm glad you loved it! I'm almost ready to submit book 2 to the publisher, so I'm not sure of the release date. I'm trying to make sure the gap between the next couple of books will be less. It's a 4 book series.
