I just sit down with my computer, away from distractions. Then I open my story and turn on a punishment system, like write or die, which will start deleting if you stop writing. It forces me to keep going, even if I'm just not feeling it. The benefit is, soon, you don't need any help and you get right back into the rhythm.
It doesn't work every time though. Sometimes I think your brain just needs a bit of a break. Sometimes you just need to walk away for the day and return when you are feeling open to writing once again.

Now that A Zombie's Guide to Being Dead is just about to be released, I've been focusing on a Cinderella retelling which will be part of a series. It's a very exciting move for me because it is my first young adult novel. It is a sci-fi/steampunk novel and hopefully will be released during 2016!
